Scale
Fresh ingredients for the ice water hack recipe: mint, lemon, and ice cubes. 2 cups of ice-cold filtered water
- 1/2 lemon (squeezed)
- A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)
- A few fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
Fill the glass with ice cubes to start the ice water hack. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a glass.
- Grate a small piece of fresh ginger or use ginger powder and set aside. If using mint leaves, gently bruise them to release their oils.
- Fill the glass with 2 cups of ice-cold filtered water.
- Add the lemon juice, ginger, cayenne pepper (optional), and mint leaves into the glass. Stir well to combine.
- Drink immediately or chill for a more refreshing experience. Enjoy throughout the day!
Notes
Adjust the flavor by reducing the amount of cayenne pepper or lemon juice. You can also substitute ginger with other herbs like basil or thyme for a unique flavor.
