    Fresh ingredients for making iced green tea: green tea, lemon, honey, mint, and ice.

    2-3 green tea bags or 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf green tea

  • 4 cups of water
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Honey, Lemon slices, or mint leaves for flavor

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water and allow it to cool slightly for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Steep 2-3 green tea bags or 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf green tea in the hot water for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags or strain the loose leaves, then allow the tea to cool at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Refrigerate the tea for 20-30 minutes to chill.
  5. Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the chilled green tea over the ice.
  6. Optionally, add honey, lemon, or mint for extra flavor.
  7. Stir and enjoy your Iced Green Tea!

Notes

For a stronger flavor, steep the tea longer or add more tea bags or loose-leaf green tea.
