Fresh ingredients for making iced green tea: green tea, lemon, honey, mint, and ice. 2-3 green tea bags or 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf green tea
- 4 cups of water
- Ice cubes
- Optional: Honey, Lemon slices, or mint leaves for flavor
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water and allow it to cool slightly for 2-3 minutes.
- Steep 2-3 green tea bags or 2 teaspoons of loose-leaf green tea in the hot water for 3-5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags or strain the loose leaves, then allow the tea to cool at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
- Refrigerate the tea for 20-30 minutes to chill.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the chilled green tea over the ice.
- Optionally, add honey, lemon, or mint for extra flavor.
- Stir and enjoy your Iced Green Tea!
Notes
For a stronger flavor, steep the tea longer or add more tea bags or loose-leaf green tea.
