All the ingredients needed for a delicious Cheesy Garlic Butter Mushroom Stuffed Chicken recipe. 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cups mushrooms, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh herbs (parsley or thyme), chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a pan, melt butter and sauté garlic and mushrooms until tender.
- Stir in cream cheese, mozzarella, and parmesan, and cook until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.
- Cut a pocket into each chicken breast and stuff it with the mushroom and cheese mixture.
- Heat a pan and sear the chicken breasts until golden on both sides, then transfer to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra richness, you can add heavy cream to the garlic butter sauce when preparing the mushrooms.
